So I have no idea if this is new or not as seen by my pleasant little title I'm still a rookie. However I have been playing competitively for almost two years now but I just never joined smashboard (lurked all the time though). Anyway, while I was messing around in training trying to learn some sheik techs I stumbled across the fact that after you turn a dash around and go into that semi stalled state if you then push the control stick back in the origin direction but let it go before you begin another dash there will be no pivot animation and part of the get up animation from the stalled state will be removed as well leaving your character perfectly still and ready to do whatever. Its more of a mind games technique as you could easily pivot right back around to further confuse the direction your going to go next. To sum up that terrible explanation
Dash right > push left > while in stalled state push and hold right > wait for a bit and when they stop sliding left release the control stick
The timing isn't so hard and im sorry I have no video to go with it as I have no ability to capture. Anyway if anyone could inform me if this was already posted that'd be great because I feel it already has but i couldn't find anything about it so. Here you go
