Small Differences Between Versions

So to make the title clear

Do you think that certain characters will perform better on the Wii U version as opposed to the 3DS version? I'm talking about frame data differences. I'm not sure if they are going to port one version and then expand on it or whatever but I'm curious.

If theres a thread like this; link me to it and I'll ask a mod to close this one.

I don't think there will be major differences. The physics and everything should be the same, and if any frame data is different, i think everything will scale. I'm assuming you think frames might be a little faster because of the stronger system.

This. That and certain characters could benefit like Rosaluma.

I'm not really sure how it all works, hence the thread. I'm not a tourney player, just a speculation bloke.

I think all that will really change is the addition of c-stick and therefore retreating aerials and easier smashes.

nah the game runs at 60fps, all that's slowed down is items/assists and things like that. Even Olimar's pikmin go at 30fps. in terms of moves and the physics engine etc. everything SHOULD be the same.

The only thing I can foresee making a difference is 3DS-durability concerns when mashing out of grabs, and the C-stick difference which will be alleviated when the N3DS is released.

Yeah, I thought that because of the 60fps, the frame data is most likely where they want it at anyway, so I doubt there will me changes in game play.

Don't the two connect to each other and play cross-platform? They would have to be exactly the same other than the stage options.

it would be awesome if physics and frame data differed between versions since there are certain changes I'd love to see, however I don't see that happening. Since controls are slightly different and the 3DS is less replaceable if it breaks than a gamecube controller, not to mention stage differences, it is highly likely we will see different tier lists.

Lying about my country.
I doubt it.

If anything's different, it's gonna be controls, I can totally imagine Sakurai stressing over it and going out of his way to make sure everything works exactly the same way in both versions.

I don't even see the point in having separate tier lists.
