OK I thought I would make a thread where we can share little almost insignificant details about the upcoming Smash whether it be gameplay, art etc.

I've actually noticed something about Palutena, it seems that when ever she lands on the ground, she does this quick twirl which is fabulous lmfao
You can see them around 1:51 and 2:15

Robin's tomes are accurate to their Awakening models as far as the patterns on the books themselves.

Also he has feet.

The contact animation is more colorful than Brawls. By contact animation I mean like, when someone hits someone else.

-Kirby's feet in this game don't expand as much as the other games giving him a smaller hit box.
-Bowser's spikes on his back, you'll see a little red circle going around it, they where black before in brawl.
-Zero Suit Samus has her mole which truly indicated her Other M design.
-Mario now only grabs with one hand instead of two
-With the new slashing affect added, hitting with Marth shows the tipper.
-Seemingly everyone's recovery but Mario's has been buffed.
-mirrored characters don't have mirrored animations. (Mario)
-Sheik's idleing pose is different.
-Zelda has a revamped tuant.
-Samus seems to have more "control" over her suit, where in brawl she felt clunky(Like a robot).
-Zelda's dress has more mobility, along with hair physics for all characters.

Just the little stuff I noticed.

The hair seem the same to me, except Palutena because it's her main feature and by the mirrored character thing, you mean that Mario will always grab with the same hand regardless?

Rosalina herself is animated like a delicate puppet. Her animations tend to have one focal point or two, and the rest of her body just kinda follows along. It feels like a very deliberate design choice, and I think it makes her the most beautifully animated character in the game:

When Mario's cape hits someone it makes the spin jump sound effect from Super Mario World.

No, what I mean is that it'll either be his left hand or right hand where in the old Smash Bros he'd grab you with both. The one hand grab thing looks better in my opinion. Lol

No I mean like when you said mirrored characters don't have mirrored animations, then used Mario as an example

I didn't notice that in any of the Mario videos I saw, but if that's true, that is amazing.

-Meta Knight's ****ing armor gloves.
-Mirrored characters.
-Pac-Man's roll dodge has him transform into a ball.
-Charizard's expressions, while subtle, are ****ing beautiful.
-Mario's cape SFX from SMW and Kirby's inhale SFX from Kirby's Dreamland 1.
-Luigi's new animations in general are really subtle yet awesome.

The Paper Mario stages has been analysed in detail by me and it has small details:

The background of the SS flavion part is the same as any sunset background (the following image is from the disc of TTYD):

Notice how the grey thingy are the exact same on the background of the stage. The sun is also the exact smae, so it should be animated with the horizontal lines coming from top to bottom indefinitely.

The blooper is almost exactly like the original model of it in TTYD (was proven with a model viewer for that game using the model files).

The ship is not the same from TTYD and that even ignores the 3 platform. The front wall was removed (probably to not obstruct the view) while the back wall is almost completely removed. You can see that they kept 2 section that are on each side. The stairs got replaced by a slope and it has 2 windows instead of one. The rest is the exact same even the flag on the top. It shows how much work was put to modify the design a lot, but still feel like source material.

Sticker star is mostly the colors being very bright that really is the design of the series being kept. Everything feels flat like the series.

Bowser castle is mostly the same comment I had to say, but I wonder what else is there.

So, very good details on that stage so far.

I love how in the Gerudo Valley stage, when the bridge is rebuilt, the song of time plays. :)

Oh! Sorry, like some, if not most attacks are having their back toward the screen. Meaning that they aren't really facing the screen 100% of the time, where sometimes it's just their stance particularly that is mirrored. Sorry I didn't understand at first. Lol

Link's tunic has aan actual textured look to it. I know it should be expected at this point, but it's still nice to see.
