Sliding Fsmash

Ness, Mario and Luigi can do a sliding Fsmash from a stand. What are the exact mechanics behind this?

Ness, Mario and Luigi can do a sliding Fsmash from a stand. What are the exact mechanics behind this?

I noticed this with luigi and mario also, they kind of step into the punch, it happens a lot for me and I'm not sure the exact mechanics of this, but i think you hit A very slightly after tapping the control stick in the direction of the smash

everyone can do that
it's just cancelling the initial frames of movement into a smash attack

this is the same for all smash attacks, otherwise it would be more difficult to perform them
initial crouch to down smash
jump to upsmash
initial dash to fsmash

Oh. I always seem to notice it more often with mario, luigi and ness.
