I know a slap slightly helps with recovery for sheik, but does it only work once or for each slap? So if Im really far off do I slap once or multiple times?

P.S. May sound stupid, but I need way more sheik mindgames. I hear WDing out of sheild is useful as sheik, but what else can I do to throw a person off?

yeah it def helps enough to make a difference between grabbing the ledge and landing on the stage. it also is good incase someone tried to edgegaurd u or throw/shoot something at u

for the slap thing what every one said they covered that. as for mind games thats just getting more experience by playing ppl better than you, and also knowing your character. even if u don't go against someone better than you at the end of the match/set ask yourself what you did wrong and what you should of done. no one can tell you how to play with better mind games its really just playing and learning from what you did wrong. their are things sheik(like every character)can do to mix it up but thats really all any can say..... this might not help but hopefully it does oh but one thing just take advantage of sheiks "gayity"
grab a lot combo but only when you know it will work then ko/edge guard for the kill.

The slap helps a ****load to recover. I use it to get out of my tumble animation since it's so short, then use it each jump. It's insanely useful v Marth since it helps you get back to the stage and stop the lame edge guarding process.

For mind games:

Utilize platforms and Sheik's speed. Watch Plank videos, he's the fastest Sheik and the best at doing this. Forward as well.

Dash dance. Learn the distance of it so you can use it like Rob$ (see: Rob$ v Azen, MLG). Not too useful but just a good change of pace.

Do some Drephen-like run up and shield.

BTW, please learn WDing out of shield. It's how you punish so many things, especially Marth.

You can't really preach mind games, though. Just learn the speed and spacing and approaches and the mind games come -- well, they do for me.
