Recently, the Skullgirls fighting game community responded with a charity event of their own and succeeded in taking the 1st place spot for the EVO 2013 charity drive.
This is what they had to say.
Not bad; a worthy opponent.
However, the Smash community has already began making plans to return the final blow.
The podcast team, Melee It On Me, has took up arms and is preparing for a full out counterattack. Be sure to visit their Facebook Group and click here to see their game plan.
But they need YOUR help!
The new deadline for the donation drive is January 31, 2013. That gives us less than a week to respond. Whether or not you donate, you CAN make a difference.
With the support of the best fighting game community that ever existed and an ace or two still up our sleeves, let's show Skullgirls, EVO, Breast Cancer Research Funds, and the world what we're made of.
