Smash Journeyman
While Project M is a mod focused first on the multi-player aspects of the game before the single-player ones, I feel that some small parts of single player modes can and should be improved.
I am aware that eventually they plan to fix glitches related to the single player modes to make them playable, but what I'm referring to is changing or adding to these modes.
Firstly, redesign the five Target Smash stages
None of them were made with Project M's characters or physics engine in mind. I'm not asking for each character to get their own stage, which I'm 95% sure is impossible, but rather for them to be more accommodating. This could possibly mean a leader board on the PMBR website as well, giving the game more replayability with much less effort than it would take to fix the Subspace Emissary.
Secondly, allow the player to see hitboxes in training mode
This would allow players who want to practice combos have an easier time getting used to how each of their character's moves work. This would also help some characters immensely, since some of them rely on sweet spots to do well. I can see this being entirely possible since we've been able to hack in visible hitboxes already, what might be hard is altering the training mode menu to give an on/off switch. Regardless, this would also improve the multiplayer aspect of the game by giving players high and low access to this information, thereby raising the skill ceiling
Would these changes be possible? Are they good ideas? Should they wait until the full 46 character roster is in before considering them? Post thoughts.
