Hi there Smash Brothers, what's up !!!

and today i'm gonna show you a character that deserves a spot with all these classic video game icons....... Let's get started !
Simon Belmont is a classic gaming icon. This hero first appeared in Castlevania, an NES/Famicom game developed by Konami in 1986 (1987 in USA). In this game, Simon Belmont had to traverse through Count Dracula’s Castle to slay the wicked count. He was armed only with his trusty Vampire Killer whip and his 5 subweapons, which consist of axes, daggers, stopwatches, holy water, and cross-boomerangs. After braving the castle’s fearsome creatures like Vampire Bats, the Frankenstein Monster, and even Death, the Grim Reaper, Simon reached the Castle’s Keep, where Dracula was resting. The battle between the two forces was intense, but, in the end, Simon was victorious.
Needless to say, the game was a HUGE hit. It sold over a million copies worldwide and was praised by many. Its success paved the way for future hit games in the series, spawning sequels like Simon’s Quest, prequels like Dracula’s Curse, and remakes like Super Castlevania IV and Castlevania Chronicles. In addition to this, Simon Belmont appeared as a guest character in many other games, including Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (as a secret boss rush character), Contra: Hard Corps (as a secret boss), and DreamMix TV World Fighters (as a playable fighter). Lastly, Simon Belmont appeared on 1989 cartoon show Captain N: The Game Master alongside Mega Man and Pit as a main member of the N-Team. Simon Belmont is a VERY important character in the gaming world.
Simon Belmont must be in Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS. Here are some reasons why:
1. He has HUGE relevance to Nintendo thanks to a huge majority of his games appearing on Nintendo consoles for a period of 27 years, ranging from Castlevania for the NES (1986) to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate for the Nintendo 3DS (2013).
2. Simon Belmont has a huge assortment of weapons and has already appeared in two fighting games (DreamMix TV World Fighters and Castlevania Judgement), so he can easily be made to fit in a fighting game such as Smash Bros. In fact, Snake from the Metal Gear series also appeared in DreamMix TV World Fighters as a playable character and later appeared in Super Smash Bros Brawl, so the idea of converting Simon into a Smash Bros character isn’t too farfetched.
3. The Castlevania series, like the Mega Man series, contains a TON of catchy and popular tracks like Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, Beginning, Heart of Fire, and Theme of Simon. Adding Simon Belmont to Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS would add Castlevania’s legendary soundtrack to its collection of music.
4. Adding Simon Belmont would help boost sales as it would attract more Castlevania fans to purchase the game. Fans of Smash Bros and Castlevania alike have wanted to add Simon Belmont to the roster for a long time.
5. Pit and Mega Man are already confirmed as playable characters in the game. Adding Simon Belmont would allow the N-Team to be reunited once more!
6. Awesome costumes- The Belmonts have lots of designs in Castlevania games from original Leather coat to Red Armor.
7. and wouldn't be awesome to see Simon go against Ryu ? Vampire Hunter vs Master of Karate !
So what do you say Smashers? Let's have our votes for him, cuz he deserve it.
