apologies in advance

is it true that kirby's side b in air is now the same as his running dash hammer attack in kirby superstar?? i saw one brawl video where it looked like the hammer dash attack and another brawl video where it looked like the hammer dash jump attack

completely unrelated
on the starting roster

Can you provide a link? I'd like to see for myself since I don't remember which running hammer attack you're talking about in Superstar.

And wow. Whoever Lewis Black is... he needs to learn to speak English, because that made absolutely no sense.

Noo... It's just a regular swing. He doesn't do the Spinning Hammer attack, he just swings it twice.

Still, it is clearly based after the dash attack of Hammer Kirby, just modified so it wont look exactly like the ICs' Side B...

The old aerial Side B can be seen in the very first trailer (right before the Halberd takes off and Metaknight is revealed), but I think we can all agree that in that vid, all veteran characters were virtually unchanged from their Melee selves. Im sure Mario didnt have the FLUDD as his Down B yet, for example.

Yeah after looking closely at the SE video I noticed that Kirby swings the hammer to his left and then to his right, while keeping his falling momentum.

Still. It looks awesome. It's pretty fast too. Hopefully it's as powerful as it looks.

On The Move....
I guess if you dash with the hammer you spin on the ground, and if you dash and jump you will have to same move if you were to dash on the ground. I think the spin in the Melee version is still in, but you don't dash and do it, it's confusing to me.

?? well... in melee there were only two moves for the hammer regardless of whether or not you were dashing. it was all depending on jumping or not and i think that will carry over. however you could be right sleepy one... only time will tell though

^Thanks. My computer has a"YouTube-Does-Not-Load Syndrome."

This aerial side-B seems easily superior to the SSBM aerial side-B. That could very well improve Kirby's aerial game, or at least give him another recovery option. (A decent) disjointed hitbox makes it seem harder for other characters to outright attack Kirby in the air.

Snake Kirby...looks creepy. I guess I will not complain when I throw grenades at Snake. Reminds me of Dynamite Kirby from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Hmm... do you think the two hits will be able to turn intoa combo or have really high knockback.

With momentum playing a bigger role in Brawl, I think it's possible that if you dash and jump you can use your momentum to do the attack on the ground. I think if you use Kirby's multiple jumps it will spin vertically like in melee.
