Note that this all took place during the same day...

I have a 2 wire router... hooked up to a office room 1 floor above my basement...

This router had perfect wireless connection with everything in the basement... I was using if fine and then it disappeared......The wireless connection just...stopped...I went upstairs and there is no sign that it has disconnected from the internet.

So I got frustrated and unplugged the router and replugged it everywhere I could...

This time...My router lets the laptop connect to it.... but shows no access to the internet...

I moved up stairs and my laptop connected...giving me a guess that the router connection distance was shrinking or something...

Soon i was not able to connect to the router at all...aside from local connection.

So I do that...and eventually that connection stops working... I can only connect if i have both local AND wireless on... Which is what im typing on right now...

wtf?

And my 2wire shows no sign of any interference at all...

wtf?

Sigh, Windows is one huge pain.

Um, altogether I dislike 2wire. I used to have trouble like this with my linksys router.

Resetting the router to default settings always did it for me :ohwell:
