Should the characters who were cut in Melee have a trailer?

I was wondering if Roy, Dr.Mario, Mewtwo, Pichu, and Young Link would get a returning trailer for their next appearance in SSB4? That is if they are confirmed. What are your thoughts and ideas about this idea?

The entire point of the trailers are to build hype. Showing off Mewtwo, in his new form, returning in HD, probably with more refined moves, is some pretty cost-efficient marketing for multiple products.

This. I can only see Mewtwo and/or Roy returning. But that would merit a trailer for sure.

Barring Mewtwo, the cut characters were clones who would obviously be heavily luigified if they get in. So they should be given new trailers.

I could see Mewtwo getting a trailer because they'd show something with his new form. Roy, probably not. Everyone else.. probably won't make it in the roster.

I don't see any returning Melee cuts getting trailers for one reason and one reason only - third parties aside, Sakurai does not announce unlockable characters before the release of the game, and every character who got cut in Brawl was an unlockable (and felt like they were unlockable for good reason).

In all seriousness, I agree. Maybe Mewtwo would be a starting character... but all other returning characters would definitely be unlockables.

Will they have a trailer? I don't predict anyone besides Mewtwo, and would say no to that one at this point.
