Should i use olimar for....

Should i use olimar for the National Gamestop tornament. i really want to win the tourny but im not sure if i should use pikachu my melee main or beat the 1st round with pika then when if i win, i will practice all week for the 2nd round of the tournament and OWN with the pikmin & olimar.

plz give me advice i really want to use olimar all the way through but i really want to win the whole thing

Wait, so how would you be practicing all week with Olimar? Do you have the game or is there a demo nearby?

Anyway, I'd say unless you get get in alot of good practice with Olimar, use Pika, since youre more comfortable with him.

if i win day 1 of the tourny the 2nd round is not until next week so thats why i said i would have a full week of practice with olimar.

and these are 1min matches btw so its bascly 1st person to get a kill kinda lol

I would go with Pika becasue if it is a One minute match Omar dosent nessiarly have the best recover and your more exprenced with Pika, remeber downsmash

Id say Pika as well. Olimar aint that good in fast-paced matches, and mainers have to be very patient when using him. Stick with Pika-good recovery, wonderful smash attacks, great aerial attacks, pretty evasive...

Yeah took me a full day to even start getting down how oli works, not to mention the mechanics of the game alone. Its like learning to walk all over again almost, go with pika - wonder if I can make it to grand juntion for this tournament... hmmmm...

Im going to that tourney, i want to win so i might as well use a cheap character,
but i win most of the time with olimar.
dont you have to do wii-mote nunchuck combo thou?
