The question is in the article, I honestly can't decide, but obviously I'm not going to get handhelds and even MORE obvious I'm not getting Xbox One at all. I'm open to suggestions except for a Gaming PC or Ouya.

Wii U first. Nintendo's selling refurbished models for 200 right now, but people are suspecting that these are actually new consoles after receiving them, but you can also opt to go for whatever bundles are out now. Target's also doing a B2G1 sale for Wii U games this week. Get Mario Kart 8 as one of your games and you also get that free digital download as well.

I already own a Wii U and I'm waiting to get a PS4 later down the line. I suggest waiting because of the current price and library, but it's up to you.

I'd say that the Wii U has the strongest library at the moment, doubly so if you like Nintendo games.

PS4 doesn't have anything that really 'wows' me at the moment, since there's still a fair amount of stuff coming for PS3 (Persona 4 Arena remake, Persona 5... uh... more games, presumably) still.

Basically this. PS4 has no game at the moment (unless you like sport/driving simulators). A lot of the large IP's for the PS4's won't be released until later this year, as well as early next year.

Well I won't be able to save up to $280 (Adding in Tax and cost for Wii U Pro Controller) by July 31st so I won't be able to do the Mario Kart 8 thing >.<
But I'm probably going with the Wii U first because of Mario Kart 8 and Smash bros

Two words: Wii. U.

Really, Wii U's library seems far better than PS4's at the moment and the price of the console is cheaper. I'm planning to get a Wii U (already have a few games bought for when I get the console) around Christmas time due to saving up for college, and I'm waiting for PS4's price to go low (unless I'm lucky to find one at a used place) before I get one.

Like others have said, the Wii U has some pretty interesting exclusives that are either released or coming up, namely Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, Bayonetta 2, The Legend of Zelda 2015, Hyrule Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and of course, Super Smash Bros. Plus, it is cheaper than the Playstation 4.

I was thinking about buying a Playstation 4 just for Kingdom Hearts III as well as other Sony-exlusive series I have long been interested in (namely Sly Cooper, Disgaea, and the Tales games), but the console isn't even backward compatible with PS3, PS2, or PS1 games, so... [Shrugs]. That being said, unless Sony does something similar to Nintendo's Virtual Console in the future, I probably will never buy a PS4.

Really? That's actually really annoying.

Wii U already has a nice chunk of exclusives worth playing. I'm choosing to hold off on PS4 (or X1 for that matter) for another year, at least until there's some solid exclusives out.

If you have a PC, there really is no reason to get a PS4 at the moment

Booster already made the decision and got a Wii U, so I'll be closing this thread.
