Should I get the new 3ds?

Compare it to the normal 3ds xl: the 3ds Xl does not have face-tracking 3d, does not have NFC amiibo reader, and is just a tiny bit smaller than the New 3ds (unnoticeable). On wht the 3ds XL does not have, think of the opposite for the new 3ds and that is what they have. But for the new 3ds XL, it has the ZR, ZL, and the C-stick now usable in game such as Xenoblade Chronicles. as for other info, They're about the same. But the New 3ds XL has flaws. When info is transferred to the New 3ds, it cannot go back to the Old 3ds unlike what they used to go back and forth. To change the New 3ds' micro sd card, you have to completely take off the back in order to do so (good luck stripping screws). in the end, it depends by game and it's features. Amiibo? buy the New 3ds or wait for the Summer (JP)/fall (US) releases for the old 3ds. extra controls? there's the new 3ds, but it is not used a lot in current games (except Xenoblade). but think about this on what YOU want.

You'll probably get better answers if you explain a bit on why you're deciding on both. Do you already have a 3DS?

Xenoblade doesn't really need two sticks... The Wii Remote and Nunchuck (the original control layout) work great. I guess it's better for camera control, but I don't remember having camera issues with that game. The only game for 3DS I can think right now of that would need the extra stick is MH4U, but that has support for the Circle Pad Pro, so you could just have a second full-sized circle pad instead of a puny little C-Stick.

I'd only get it if they add more games for it. Until then, I'm sticking with my old 3DS.
The new features don't really intrest me.
