I'm running a local bi-weekly all summer.
None of the people at my school are involved with the smash scene as a whole, and frankly, we suck. But we like Melee quite a lot.

Should I post the tournament on the Smashboards tournament calendar? It's going to be the first tournament for the vast majority of people I've talked to, and I can't imagine many people would be excited about taking an $8 ferry (Seattle, WA to Bainbridge Island) to come here.
That said, I don't know the extent to which people go to get to tournaments -- even crappy ones like these.

Right now, I have about 14 friends excited to come, and I've spread flyers downtown. The venue doesn't have a fee, and could hold probably around 40-50. The series starts next Saturday, the 27th.

Thoughts much appreciated.
