First off, the idea for this came from Terotrous in this thread. Also, this idea may not even be possible for PM, but if it is, or one day might be...

Should Crew Battle mode carry over damage percents as well as stocks? If we ignore tradition for a second, and imagine creating the first ever crew battle mode, wouldn't it make more sense to include percents with stocks? It would be more like a continuous battle, with the next player jumping in right as the previous player lost all of his stocks, albeit on a different stage. It also makes taking stocks off a little less polarizing. I really couldn't think of good reasons against this, and I didn't want the discussion to die. So what do you guys think?

no because that's not what a crew battle is
I understand that crew battles are a certain way right now. What I'm wondering is should it be that way. Is there a good reason why crew battles should carry over stocks only?

essentially it wouldn't be as hype when percents are equal in a crew battle. last stock high % fights wouldn't be hype; the fact that your % resets is what makes winning those exchanges so valuable. it would change the meta of crew battles in a negative way imo

I guess I'm only thinking of it from the standpoint of what would be more fair, as in, who has the better crew overall. You're right though, the point of view of the spectators is important as well.

you have to consider that just because someone's the better crew doesn't mean they won't have a rough start. and having it like this doesn't completely polarize the momentum. the percentage reset allows a better chance for comeback. (see ISAI)
