Should amiibo's be used competitively?

Think about it. If TGC's are competitive. Why not amiibo's?

My high school video game club has amiibo tournaments ever since I brought Sm4sh for Wii U to the club.

And we train our amiibo's and make them do a tourney like a boss.

Yeah, I think they should, there could be a whole meta-game just to raising your amiibo correctly. Maybe betting or prizes would take place? (Not suggesting anything illegal, obviously). It could create a very dynamic scene. There could even be professional amiibo trainers that for a price would train your amiibo to be the best. I think this would be very awesome!

Having them as a side event is an excellent idea.

Having them enter regular tournaments alongside humans (unless it's... doubles with an Amiibo partner), less so.

I love the idea expecially if it's amiibo only tournaments!

Lucky my school has no videogame club and most kids just play COD
