Short hop on keyboard help

Is it possible to short hop on a keyboard? I assume it is, but is it very hard because i just dont seem able to on my keyboard. Although it hasnt really been an issue, id just like to see if its maybe just my keyboard or some control setting or something that isnt letting short hop.

with mupen i think you can use macros to do it for you.
i can do SH with my keyboard. maybe its just your keyboard.
but yea. macros in mupen.

You're using Up to short hop aren't you? You can't shorthop with the "control stick", you have to use a C-button instead. If you're using the arrows to move, I recommend setting Right Shift as one of the C-buttons. Or whatever suits you.

you can actually short hop with the stick...LOL try it...but it's nearly impossible. Melee is easier for it. I already tried it on my psp XD.
