I have heard of this infamous Glitch, and I would like to know more about it.
In a Nutshell;
Is the glitch intact with the PAL version of the game?
Can you capture said beasty?

For Diamond and pearl know-alls!

You can't, it faints before you can catch it. You can randomly find a bulbasaur in the game that is really a glitch. It doesn't have any stats or anything, you find it, try to do something, it faints and you go on with life confused beyond all belief...

I think this is what he means: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltCqqkywRI&mode=user&search=

Its called shiny invisible bulbasaur because it has bulbasaur's cry, the shiny sparkles, and the bulbasaur sprite isn't seen. Also it can't be captured because well, technically it isn't there, when you throw a ball of any kind the game will regard it as not there and end the battle.

There is also a similar glitch in the japanese version where if you have to fainted pokemon, an egg, one healthy pokemon and enter a double battle where the invisible shiny bulbasaur appears on your side of the battle as a big white square thing. People prefer to call this glitch the DP box since it has no official name. Also this glitch was taken out of the US version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwXR9IQRxps
Thanks to bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net for the info

OOooo.
Okay, so, since it's not *really* there, it's uncatchable.
****it.
Ah well.
It was all really just curiosity on my behalf.
Thanks all!
