Shine Help?

Well I play a lot of ssb64 mostly and I'm really getting into melee. I'm trying to main Falco and some jiggs. But what I trying to figure out is how do people like mango, lucky, Silent wolf or good fox falco players cancel their shine so quickly? I'd appreciate any kind of help.

I've kind of figured it out you just have to jump and then do it really fast?

dude. jumping cancels the shine. that's all. if you want to know more about your options at that point, go start reading some guides and ask specific questions.
