shine > full jump

hey just a quick question how can i shine to full jump while still on the ground and take out my bair/dair what have you without short hopping. i always seem to do it too fast and short hop (im a fox main) or too slow and totally miss. i tried pressing up on the analog stick but that was just weird so i resorted to jump > shine > air move of choice. any help please ^^

its all in your fingers just force yourself to control your jump with fox asa main you usually dont jump out of a shine so just learn to adapt to Falco since full jump out of shine can become important in falco's shine combos

Shine to Short hopped areals are cool lookin anyways. But I use Control stick to jump and cstick to get attack out. Like they said tho, timing.

I was going to make a stupid thread about something that relates to this, but Im kinda stuck in a stupid rut...lol I always shffl almost every arieal, and now I find it hard to full jump alot of the time. Someone will be on a platform above me and when i go to full jump I always end up short hopping it out of muscle memory..anyone have the same problem lol?

Well, if it's something new, then "new" muscle memory must be added. Once you get it all down, you need to be able to interchange memories. It's like writing something out ten times to get it down, another thing then other times, and then writing a sentance using those two words...

Dang...that's the worst sounding analogy i've ever made...

lol full jumping isnt new to me, im just used to using short hops alot more /shrug no big deal really its only happens sometimes lol, i find it kind of funny actually lol

i suggest analog to c stick because some people hold the up on anaqlog a lot more and you cann di from upt to the desire side and do your aerial.
or if you do not mind extra extra lag, waveshine out and do a full jump aerial
