Shine 2017 Trailer Released; Registration Open

After having its dates revealed last month, Shine 2017 now has a new trailer to accompany the start of its early bird registration period, which lasts from today until February 5. The games featured in this year's iteration of New England's premier event are Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Street Fighter 5 and Super Smash Bros. 64.

Happening on August 25 - 27, Shine 2017 is the sequel to last year's successful Shine 2016, which was the New England region's first major tournament. Shine 2016 managed to get over 2000 attendees, with raving reviews from players and spectators alike.

Returning to the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center, Shine 2017 will be looking to top its predecessor's excitement. With new games such as Street Fighter V joining the lineup and Matthew "MattDotZeb" Zaborowski, Shi “Rorec” Deng, and the entire Big Blue eSports team organizing the event, Shine 2017 will easily be one of the biggest tournaments of the year.

Registration for Shine 2017 is currently open on smashgg. In addition to the early bird registration discount, all Shine 2016 attendees will receive two $5 discount codes in their email inboxes tomorrow, one for themselves and another for a friend.

Will you be at Shine 2017? Comment down below and stay tuned to Smashboards for news on what is sure to be one of the most hype tournaments this year.

this may be a dumb question but it says for registration it is (besides venue) $10 per person per game is the per game for whether or not you sign up for like melee and sm4ash?

If you're signing up for Melee, it's $10. If you're signing up for Smash 4 too, it's another $10.
