The organizers of Shine 2016, New England's premiere event, has just confirmed via Twitter that the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U champion of several tournaments, Gonzalo "TSM| ZeRo" Barrios will be attending the event. He joins other top talents like Samuel "dT | Dabuz" Buzby and Eric "PG | ESAM" Lew in the pursuit for the Shine championship.

Shine's organizers also announced that they will be partnering up with Smashgg to host Lane Shift, a Fill 'n' Go side event for all Smash games, which you can see explained in full detail here.

On the second day, the first day's "Lane" winners and competitors who've been knocked out in between Top 256 and Top 8 can opt to join in the second "Lane" stage. From here, the entrants can advance to the third stage and earn prizes in the form of merchandise and more.
