Shine 2016: ZeRo is Ready to Shine, and more!

The organizers of Shine 2016, New England's premiere event, has just confirmed via Twitter that the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U champion of several tournaments, Gonzalo "TSM| ZeRo" Barrios will be attending the event. He joins other top talents like Samuel "dT | Dabuz" Buzby and Eric "PG | ESAM" Lew in the pursuit for the Shine championship.

Knocked out of the bracket early and have free time? Shine has got you covered.

Shine's organizers also announced that they will be partnering up with Smashgg to host Lane Shift, a Fill 'n' Go side event for all Smash games, which you can see explained in full detail here.

Essentially, spectators and those knocked out of their round one pools have the opportunity to join a "Lane" bracket on day one. There will be multiple brackets, with the winners receiving small prizes along the way.

On the second day, the first day's "Lane" winners and competitors who've been knocked out in between Top 256 and Top 8 can opt to join in the second "Lane" stage. From here, the entrants can advance to the third stage and earn prizes in the form of merchandise and more.
Shine is taking place on August 26-28, are you going to watch it? Be sure to follow @Shine_Series on Twitter to catch every update on Shine 2016!
