If there are any Sheik players out there with some free time on their hands, and some ability to record, I'd be really interested to see how you take on the LVL 9 Bowser AI. I can do it just fine (now), I'm just curious as to how other people would go about it.

Other than practicing combo %'s and stuff, playing against CPU's won't help very much against real people, CPU's are super predictable and have no mix ups, they also have ridiculous reaction times, this result's in them playing much differently to humans. If I were you I'd focus more of my time on practicing Vs. Humans
It's not really an issue in practice or skill or anything. I play pretty well, I just found this particular match up super hard the first few times and wasn't sure why. I don't plan on using it to get better at the game, I'm just curious as to what other people would do.

Bait the airdodges, then punish the landing lag.

Spam needles.
Spam Fair.
Spam Bouncing Fish.
Spam literally anything. Bowser needs a read to hit you at all because if you play the neutral right and weave in and out of range, he can't do much of anything except jab, fortress, or klaw.

You can't really bait an AI's airdodge, since they will only do that off of an input read. You would have to use a move that last long enough for them to dodge and then land while a hitbox is still active. Sheik's aerials don't last very long, so that's extremely difficult to do. Additionally, the forced airdodge could also force a tech, which would also result in no hit.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.
I meant like, you toss out a fair, they airdodge, and since the fair autocancels, you have a little time to punish. That usually works for me. Everything you said was still right, though.

You just summed up the matchup for literally all characters.

Seriously though, bowser can't deal with needles or escape fair. You gotta watch out because Bowser players can be very Up B OoS happy because it can punish anything if they touch Bowser's shield. The bowser main I train against likes to get me off stage and then try to ledge guard with dtilt and fair and it's annoying so be careful of that. Otherwise the matchup should be fairly easy.
