Shedding some light on the Japanese launch...

Before I begin, I'd like to apologise in advance if something like this has been said already.

I'd just like to say... yes. We all know that Brawl releases in Japan in 10 days.

So, I'd like to know: why are people assuming that on the 31st, we'll suddenly be swarmed with info?

When Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were released in Japan in September 2006, it took almost a week before we knew a majority that there was to know about the games. So then why would the case of Brawl's Japanese release be any different?

Unfortunately, on a forum as big as Smash World Forums, there will most likely be quite a few people announcing a lot of fake information in regarding to playable characters, SSE plots, etc.

None of us should expect immediate swarms of information. If anything, a majority of the early revealers will be fakes.

Just be aware. That's all I'm saying.

Uhh... It isn't too hard to unlock Smash's secrets (I think). If we just have some steadfast players, we'll get some soon (Pokemon is a little more expansive than Smash).

Who ever said that the guide would release on the same day as the game?

Also, the guide for Melee was missing information on certain things, from memory.

I believe ShortFuse enlightened us about this.

The Wii disc can be decrypted. All the info will immediatly be put unto a computer, so that means characters, stages, music and what not will be shown to us fairly quickly.
