Just finished up a new animation and looking for lots of views / comments / critiques on it.

Already known errors:
  • Black / White flickering (especially on the feet, but this is due to the method used for their outlines... and isn't easily fixed)
  • Hacker (White Kirby) is visible too early after 2:15
  • Lack of reason for the explosions starting at 0:28 (originally set to be from Primid blasts, the layer featuring them got misplaced... and it took too long to render that section to re-do it)
  • Random white shadow visible at 4:02
  • Other misc. timing issues
  • Overall laziness at the 3:40+ point

Up first...Shadow Kirby 3 (latest animation, past 2 months of work) --- additionally, below it are the Shadow Kirby 1, 2, and loosely related Bomberman Christmas not necessary, as there isn't really a plot... but just for completion sake.

Shadow Kirby 3: Game Over

Bomberman Christmas

Shadow Kirby 2

Shadow Kirby 1

Outside of those videos... my smash bros related are is kind of sparse. I have a few wallpapers.

Then there is also my texture hacks...

And then finally outside of Brawl... just lots and lots of drawings, primarily girls with cat ears.

----

But for right now, I'm just looking for comments on my latest video --- other comments are welcome and appreciated... but I'll actually be taking a CGI course this year and I hope to improve.

I can't say I was terribly impressed by the animation. It was really basic and not fluid. The wheel model is really nice, but the lighting is shoddy in a few spots. The robot models that are always in a line are well done. Overall, I think it's a great start, but you should try to create better movement in the characters. It seemed that the inverse kinematics on the Kirby model were very blunt and blocky. Try making him bend in more places, maybe give a slight rubber effect on him?

I do like the creativity of all the animations. The ground rippling and the various explosion things were really fun. Keep it up and you'll get way better.

Never have I managed to stick to a movie like those, though. Generally I'll find a way to do something then move on. I like your dedication. Definitely keep it up. I hope you continue animating. Your texture hacks and drawings are all great. Again, keep it up.
