Shadow from FinalFantasy 6 is my favorite Character from the 2D FinalFantasy.

i tink he would be an awesome addition to SSBB since we dont have a ninja

Now hold on a second! Ryu could either make this installment of Smash, or da next installment of it seein how Ninja Gaiden 1, 2, and 3 started on da NES.

But anyways, I never heard of that Shadow guy up until now. Meh......da only FF character that has a chance to make it onto Brawl is Black Mage. Period.

The first Final Fantasy is the most iconic, thus which is why the classes have appeared in many times, such as the Square-Enix developed "Mario Hoops 3 on 3" where Mog, Black Mage, White Mage and Ninja were all playable. Though if Ninja did make it in, surely Shadow could be an alternative costume. <3

I'm pretty sure you mean Mario Hoops 3 on 3.

I have Strikers, and it isn't developed by Square nor does it have Square characters in it.

Well, they could still realistically change it and make the in game name be Red, but I get the feeling that with it stated as Pokémon Trainer on the official English site that it's PROBABLY more or less set in stone. But I'm cool with that since there's still the possibility for Trainer skins of different characters in the series (like May or Dawn).

When the world ends, you control Celes...so how is Celes not a main character?

I've never been able to peg a MAIN character for that game. So many characters have such huge involvements to the plot...you start with Terra, then lose her for a short time to join her as Locke, then split up into three groups, then Terra goes insane and you've got Celes and Locke again...and then you get her back. Just to frickin' lose her when Kefka becomes a real douche midway through the game.

If I had to decide, I would say Terra or Celes is the REAL main character. You can finish the game without Terra AND Locke on the team. Let's see, it was Celes, Sabin, Edgar and Setzer who were the ones you NEEDED before you were able to go to the last area, wasn't it? Then again...Crono WAS the main character in Chrono Trigger, and you could beat the game without him too. So I would probably say Terra.
