SFX Volume too low

Ok so i'm doing cutom SFX for character voice (Like Kirby saying "hiii"), but the SFX i replaced it with sounds way too low, it's too hard to hear in game, but weirdly enouh it sounds loud on my computer...is there a program that can amplify the wav.s volume?

Volume in game isn't always 1:1 with how you hear it on a computer.
As for actual programs, the most common used editor is Audacity, as it's free. Goldwave is a nice alternative, though the free version has an input limitation until the program is rebooted.
