I'm trying to replace Fox's vBrawl voice with the one from Melee; I managed to get a working set though the voice SFX appear to be much lower compared to other SFX.

My first question is, how can I get them to be louder? I used Audacity and made the .wav files in two layers, should I place a third layer? I did the same thing for my Melee Falco SFX and everything was fine.

Second, how do you use Smash Attack! to map SFX to certain commands? I tried mapping Falco's jump voice SFX to his double jump based on the values given in Super Sawndz and when I saved the .pac file and tested it in Project M, nothing changed.

Any help is appreciated.

I read through it and I still have no idea how to do that via the hackless method. Could you please explain?
Haha if you have P:M 3.0 or later... literally all you have to do is copy the 'projectm' and/or the 'codes' folder onto the root of your SD card for whatever mods you download... Unless you're on a Mac... in which case you have to copy the things into the folders individually.

Mainly looking for voice SFX only, I watched your previews and all specials were changed; sorry to nitpick but I'm not too keen on Melee Fox's blaster sfx.

Ah... I think Brawl's SFX are horridly watered down and also bad qualiity. Anyway, an actual answer for your query then haha. If you're using Audacity, you can make the sfx louder by increasing the decibels. You don't wanna increase it too much tho cause of tearing/clipping. Horrible sound quality then... And to change the sfx calls in Smash Attacks, the values in Super Sawnds are not what it uses, they are individual hex id's. I have them all but that would take a while to post... Pretty sure someone over in my thread found them somewhere. You can hunt for them there

Thanks so much for the explanation!

I was confused as to why my Melee SFX for Falco's voice were fine but Fox's are so low.
