I sort of make up the date for ssb64 smashfest, it will be on Saturday, November 17th. The place will be engineering lounge, noon - 2:30pm for warm up and practices, 2:30pm is when all will gather for events. (feel free to come as early as possible, I'll be here)

There will be food such as pizza and chips but do bring some money for tournaments (also cheap snack and pop here). I won't order pizza before half of the events are done.

We will be waiting and I'll be happy to see you along with your friends here for ssb64.

Events are as follow:
- Practices, for those who need to get back into 64 again
- Just for fun, ffa, 1v1 or 2v2
- Tournaments for Singles
- Tournaments for Doubles
- If it's fine for the players, MMs

Importance:
- Singles
$5 / player, pot for 1st and 2nd, best of 3 games, 6 stocks no item. Rn-Robin to decide top 8 or 16 seeds (both loser and winner brackets, approx $55 to $80 pot)
- Doubles
$3 / player, winners take all, best of 7 games, 5 stocks no item, team attack ON (winner bracket only, approx $30 to $45 pot)

Our Equipments:
2 TVs, 1 VCR, Cheap pop and snack machine, 2 64-console, 6 controllers and 1 ssb64 game.

It's nice to have 3 tvs and 3 consoles, it's faster that way and people don't have to wait. From above, we need 1 more ssb64 game and few more controllers.

Be sure to bring a 64-controller of your own and if possible, another ssb64 as well. Just reply here or PM me. Aside from our SFU players, I'm looking for 6 to 12 players from smashboard (eg. here). I really want people to bring their friends, more the better and get involved! Short on equipments.

If there are more questions just let me know, and I will also be needing a contact number as I will need it on the 17th. (PM me the info if you want)

PS: this is for N64 Smash Brother only.

It happened last week, so it's too late anyway.
yea, but im probably gonna have another one sometime early Jan of 2008 along with a melee event. point is that im hoping to have way more players for there for melee as well as 64. since I main ssb64, not melee, I do hope that most of you can make it.

but yeah, do constantly read the BC Canada Thread as I or Meta will post information about next event. Melee + SSB64, he will be doing melee and I will be hosting the ssb64.

once again there just might be free food !!
