Set volume when replacing SFX?

When I replace sounds in new .swand files using Super Swandz, all of my replaced SFX are very quiet in comparison to the stock sounds. Is there a volume setting I'm unaware of? Or are the stock sounds just naturally very loud?

Sounds have a volume setting in the bsrar file, but since our method of replacing sound effects doesn't replace that, it can't really be fixed that easily.

What I do instead is duplicate the audio track in audacity when I'm making it. That way it plays louder but isn't really distorted.

That's clever. I'll just have to use a limiter to boost the signal without causing distortion. On editing the volume setting, is that a feature that might be possible in the future? Or is there any way to edit the .bsrar file before I make my .swands?
