Serious Amiibo Question

Are Amiibos supposed to be stronger than a regular character played by you? I ask because my Fox amiibo does about 20-23% damage with an uncharged Up Smash coming out of his Dash. I tested Fox in Training Mode and was only able to do about 14-16% with the attack. So I'm curious if anyone else has noticed that issue.

Also...NO, I have NOT feed my amiibo any equipment so it has no extra attack, speed or defense.

Other people have done testing, and yes, at level 50 they do more damage than regular characters even without equipment. Lord help the poor sap who feeds it a critical hit badge...

I fed my villager amiibo so much it had like 150 attack, was not a good time... so I ended up resetting it cuz I thought it would make it have regular damage and be a fair battle.. guess not :/

Its not just the damage they deal either. They also take less, move faster, jump higher, launch more and get launched less. I don't know the exact percentages these get buffed, but it scales up with level. And I believe that is why they cap at lvl 50 but still keep learning afterward. I've heard other people say their Amiibo deals more damage, and its pretty evident in mine as well (Samus). For me, the most noticeable buff they have is their launch resistance. To the point that I firmly believe that you would have to take a lvl 50 Bowser above 230 damage to have any hope of launching it. I don't even want to think about lvl 50 Bowser with -200 speed stat.
