This is my Super Smash Bros for Wii. U tournament, Smashing Blades.
I'm somewhat a pro at Smash 4 but I wouldn't consider the Best of the Best. Looking to learn a bit from the competition.
These weeklies will be Double Elimination format and held once a week as long as I can manage. These weeklies will be held around 9pm unless stated otherwise. No prizes will be awarded as of yet. At least I can offer an unlimited display of skills from the participants with the tournament.

UPDATE: Family is now officially gone. Heavens yes. Now, I have decided to hold Smashing Blades every other Saturday at the same specified time 9pm EST.
With that stay Smashing and keep a look out for the date of the tourneys.
Stamped News/Rules:
1) The official name of the tournament as been changed from 'Smashing Blade' to 'Smashing Blades'. It just rolls off the tongue better.
2) The new official set time is 9PM EST
3) Make sure you verify your challonge email and Twitch email so there isn't any difficulty with people able ti type in the Twitch chat.
4) Stream rules:
I will stream a match at random on each round of winners side (if
applicable). Top 8 of winners can be requested to be on stream. Semi Finals of Winners and Losers will be automatically streamed and then from there on.

Best 3 out of 5 (First to 3 wins)

Time Limit: 6 Minutes
Items: No Items
Customs: No Customs
Equipment: No Equipment

Counterpicks:
Duck Hunt
Kong Jungle (64)
Delfino Plaza

Gentlemen’s Rule is accessible:
If both players agree, then any stage is legal.
This includes Omega Random.
The winner of any match is entitled to 3 stage bans.
Dave’s Stupid Rule is in effect:
You cannot counter pick a stage you already won on in the current set.
[Neutral start may be requested via a time maker]
[Lag Check/Hand Warmers may be requested]
[The Winner of a match can switch characters, but must announce it to their opponent.]
[No charging or farming moves while the referee is SDing his stocks.]
