Our third official biweekly will be kicking off on the 3rd of September! We'll be doing Super Smash Bros for WiiU singles and possibly doubles as well. To make things easier for people to attend we'll be starting an hour later than usual. Starting at 6PM is going to be a trial run for us. Start times may change in future events.

Shortstops Sports Cards & Games is hosting us again.
Smash 4 singles starts at 6 PM
Smash 4 doubles start promptly after if there are enough teams to make it happen.

Shop closes at 11 PM, so we also have to be aware of that if/when we start doubles.

We'll have friendlies going at least an hour before hand as I'll be there myself at around 4:30 PM setting things up.

Venue fee: $5
Singles: $5
Doubles:$10 per team ($5 per person)

Prize breakdown: 1st: 60%, 2nd: 30%, 3rd: 10%

We'll be using the latest version of the game at 1.1.0.
We will be trying out Peach's Castle as a counterpick again. Hyrule Castle will still be a banned stage.

Neutral Stages:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Dreamland
Town and City
Smashville

Couterpicks:
Delphino Plaza
Halbard
Lylat Cruise
Castle Seige
Duck Hunt
Peach's Castle

We had 12, how ever there were 4 of them that showed late. What happened was we had 8 people in singles, then they showed after round 1. They joined doubles after were we had 8 people for doubles (4 teams of a round robin).

This is why I'm starting it at 6PM this time as a test. We're still small, so I'm taking the opportunity of being able to finish the events in a short amount of time by using the extra time to just start it an hour later. This way it'll be easier to for people to arrive on time. If we grow to the point where we can't finish in the alloted time, we'll go back to 5PM.

Unfortunately, because of a pile of homework that was piled on top of me over these past two days, I can't go to the tournament ;_;
Makes me sad, but it must be done. Hopefully there will be a week where schoolwork and work work don't interfere.
