send me some combo's you came up with or highlights from a match.

I'll be making a video where i demonstrate how good ssb64 in hopes to get people off of brawl and into ssb64 a bit of a comparison but a bit different you'll just have to see the final product

upload it to something like megaupload or on aim or msn transfer the videos to me

Near, we could do some matches and record them for this

This fits perfectly with the "Getting the word out to Brawlers" concept too :D

Anyone who wants to p2p with me and Record for THIS PROJECT (meaning the matches wont be serious as such, but more about flashy and cool combos) Message me through either PM, MSN, or AIM :)

I still have my footage vs superboom on console. Ill send that over little by little when I can, Ill only send the clips where boom is doing out of the ordinary ownage, not the boring ones (a few of our matches were kind of dull, most of em were awesome)

If you want advanced combos just take all Mevsec's matches and you will demonstrate how freaking good is SSB64.

I think this is actually a brilliant idea.
If you manage to get some Brawlers interested in SSB64, we'll have a lot more fun.

I've got some news that a lot of brawl players complain about the combos..... of MELEE!! So imagine what they'd think about SSB64.
The more time goes, the more I think brawlers are all idiots.

Judging by your speed and tech skill, you could give us much better than falcon in falconland, but I did like those nasty spikes lol. Your opponent was horrible, p2p me for a good falcon fight sometime in march XD (I dont mind lag if its a friendly, I know you're in europe)

Yeh, the combo vid would shy off peeps that fear Melee combos. But, actually, they just dislike Melee combos because they need a reason to rag on Melee. Also why they consider Melee "dial a combo".

It'd get the goodums interested though.

I'll get whooped/whoop for this. Depends on how good you are, 64 has the awesome ability to make you look like you suck if you fight someone better better than you. :D

Brawl is pretty fun but serious smashers lean towards melee // 64 from what Im seeing.

Actually as far as I can tell 64 is getting more active these days which is great, It pains me not playing online at the moment but I really cant play on the keyboard, like, at all.

About 1 month to go till the adaptor arrives, Ill just have to keep my mind off it!! :p

Dreamland is great to do Falcon combos, and therefore to post good vids with plenty of good stuff and fast zero-to-death matches, thats why i record it there. Oh and a lot of european players (including some of the top players) love camping around Hyrule, therefore boring matches :/
Why not, I'd like to play everyone who's good.
I played Daedatheus (I think he's from your region?) some days ago and there was 6 frame delay. It was playable but harder to do combos.

Hey Dair, if you don't want to watch our awesome COMBO vid in its entirety (you should though :bee:), then I think the combo at 2:15 has the best entertainment value while still being a combo.

The also liked the one at 2:01 :p

Winston brings up a point - wouldn't you have to try pretty hard to not make it like...75% Isai? ~_~
As awesome as the combos are, I'm not sure if showing lots of a player who's miles better than just about everyone else would be helpful in drawing a newcomers :lick:

Use some from Alancitu's application combo video and from some of Isai's matches like Isai Fox vs Trigger Fox.

I dont think Brawl players will come to SSB64... they're like complete opposites.

we might get some melee players though

I know one that came to 64, but still likes Brawl.

It depends on why they are a Brawl player. "Competetitive" Melee players who switched to Brawl are lost. Those who learned about competitive play through Brawl are viable.

We should try maybe with the ex-melee players who switched to brawl and ended up in huge dissapointment

We should also tell them that not just Isai pwns 64 but PC Chris also plays now, too... doesn't necessarily pwn anywhere near Isai, of course, but if they see PC is doing it, lots of Melee players might be more willing to take the leap

its works but...they will likely join...see cool combos..try said combos...fail and quit

Me and Surri recorded a bulk. 2 Mupen matches, 10 Pj64k captures.

Do you want to watch all the playbacks, or do you want me to weed out what I think is crud and convert the rest to vid form. =/

pick out the best ones and if YOU CAN convert them to video format AVI,WMV etc
