I don't think this is against the rules. i didn't see anything that said i could make something like this.

I'm selling some of my stuff, and wanted to see if any of you guys want it. Turns out, that with GIMP supporting the adobe photoshop brush file now, and the pen tool is working just fine for me, i probably won't be buying CS3. instead, i'm just going to save for a cheap laptop so i can just do my stuff on the go. *shrugs* so i'm selling some of my stuff to help pay for it. stuff that i'd normally wouldn't offer.

I just ask one thing:
-No flame or spam in this topic. Just no senseless posts saying on how this is stupid. i'm trying to make some honest money since I can't get a job right now.

I mean, i know the slurpee cups sound stupid, but i've actually had collectors for Star Wars and X-men contact me and ask me if i wanted to sell, 'cause they're collectible now, since you can't buy them in stores. *Lots of people from my local trade center. seriously. LOTS*

==================================================
-Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Stylus Holder. *Still in the shrinkwrap*

-2 Sets of Star Wars Episode 3 slurpee cups. Collectible. (One has a crack down the side of it 'cause my idiot friend tried to break it 'cause he doesn't like Star Wars.) *i've had people try to buy them off me before, but i turned them down*

-1 Set of X-men 3 slurpee cups. *again, been offered before, but i turned them down 'cause i wanted to keep it for myself*

-Final Fantasy Tactics Guide for PS1. Near-Mint condition, just EXTREMELY slight wear on the edges. just shelf wear.

-Final Fantasy 7 Guide for PS1. EXTREMELY slight wear on the edges as well, barely even visible.

-Final Fantasy 10 Guide for PS2. Again, EXTREMELY slight wear as well. just shelf life wear.
==================================================

Payment:
I'm looking for cash. actual cash, money order or check will do just fine.

i'll go through my games as well to see what i'm willing to sell. i don't have any Xbox games or PSP games period. so don't ask for those. Also, I have a TON of pokemon cards, so if you know any collectors or are a collector yourself, feel free to ask me for specifics. I basically have mostly the older ones.

so yeah, i'm selling some of my stuff to pay for a cheap laptop. *shrugs* again, can't get a job, so what can you do?

I don't really want any Slurpee cups, but I just wanted to say that Marthmaster shrugs very often. Seriously, I don't think I've seen anyone with a greater average *shrug*s per post.

Are your shoulders tired?

Wait, you are selling game guides for games that are at least 6 years old, some cups, and a stylus?

Ebay would laugh.

But yes, we are not auction site.

How much you'd make on Ebay:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=X-Men+Slurpee+cups&category0=
~$25

http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1
~$20

http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1
~$5

http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1
~$20

http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1
~$10

http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1&fsoo=1
~$1.04

You MIGHT stand to make about $80 IF people do the "Buy It Now" however, even the Star Wars Collectible is only going for $4 with one bid.

I'll leave it open for discussion of Ebay.

I never understood why anyone would buy a gameguide when there's the internet for free.

i agree. but the guides still sell, so i just figured i'd give it a shot.

but still tho, i'd take the $80 more than likely. every dime counts for me.

and yeah, i dunno. i just shrug a lot lately. don't know why.

anyway, i'll probably just go to ebay over the next couple of days and set up the auctions. who knows how it'll turn out.

No, you aren't getting $80. That's how much they go for if people use buy it now. The slurpee cups go for about $4 total so you might have $12 right there. None of the guides were selling without games attached, and the stylus holder was listed pretty high but I didn't see any bids.

you mentioned that you had people offer to buy your slurpee cups why don't you see if yo are able to sell it to them instead of the ebay $4. it is worth a try. also for the guides that is almost impossible to sell. sorry. except if you know someone that loves to have them in there shelf for no reason as a collector's item but i really doubt that.if you have any rare games you are able to sell those for a lot of money and people are willing to pay a lot for them. for example the original .hack series with kite are worth a lot because they went out of print. they are able to fetch quite a bit if it is used only the last three not infection cause it is still everywhere. if you happen to have an extra copy of a factory sealed game that is rare, well you know your now a happy person.

i hope this helped.

the only reason to use a game guide is illustrations. The Nintendo Power Path of Radiance guide was bad. Typos, bad character info (they reccomend Illyana >_<), lame strategies, even bad jokes... BUT they have a map for every mission with important borders marked in red as well as where reinforcements show up, which makes up for all the rest put together.

StuckGamer.com is one of many newer sites that does Video Strategy Guides for free. It's just pretty idiotic to by a book that tells you how to complete a game.
