Hey guys,
I thought I would share kind of a fun little challenge I've created for myself. The purpose of this challenge is to learn every character more intimately, and also just for the fun play-through.
So basically how it works, is that you start with Mario and play against every character (including the same character chosen) at lvl 9, keep track of all of your wins/losses on an excel sheet just to see how you do with each character against each character. Make sure to play on an Omega (AKA Final Destinationalized) with 2 lives and no time.
Like I said, its just a fun way to get a true feel for the game's different characters, even those you don't like. I never liked playing as Luigi, but playing through 48 characters really helped me understand his playstyle, and I actually found some amazing things Luigi can do.
You don't HAVE to do 48 characters, you could just ultimately pick whoever you want to learn, but it makes it more fun to even use characters you wouldn't normally use.
I know it's a long process to play 48 matches per character, but it's just a little something to do if you want to change it up, or learn something new.
