hey anyone able to short hop fast fall into a perfect waveland consistantly? i mean.. probably a dumb question given the talent in this community. but i've put ina lot of practice for wavedashing and im just getting to the point where i can wavedash like a madman so thats fun but i've been experimenting with the ice climbers and their wave land takes them from 0 to 60 a quarter of the way across FD. so then i was like.. well lets try it w/ fox and it seems like the waveland would allow for mindgames so dirty that im almost ashamed to think of trying them on my friends.
ok.. to the point of the post.... what ways do you integrate wavelanding into your fighting style?
for my input.. my style already includes a lot of running shffld' nairs so i get shield grabbed and CC'd into smash alot so im workin on running at someone and short hopping and hten wave landing backwardsright in front of them and then wavedashing into an upsmash.
im also trying to mix some shl with wave landed grabs / smashes.
another thing id like to have is to be able to full jump over someone and waveland backwards into them and do an u-tilt to pop them upand wavedash backwards and do a quick upsmash after that....
im definately not even close to pro caliber and these techniques arent really meant for competitve play .. i just think they'd look cool and make my friends be like wtf. anyone else got any tricks u wanna throw in to this brainstorm then LETS HEAR IT.
