I need some suggestions on a good large SUV to look at and consider. Requirements:

MUST BE AWD. Need it for those Colorado winters and mountain drives.
Preferably V8 engine
08 or newer.
Preferably Silver

I've searched all over my area for a car and now I need some suggestions cause I'm running out of both makes, and TIME. Any help appreciated.

How many people need to be in said SUV?
Does mileage affect your choice?
New or Used?
I'm assuming AWD= All-Wheel Drive= 4x4
Car=/=SUV
Do you want a boxy look or a streamlined look?

Answer the above and I might be able to help.

Really depends on what you want to spend, and the questions UberMario asked.

dude, do you really need an suv for THREE people??

get a sports car and tell everyone else in your family to shove it, 'cause it's a gift to yourself from yourself because you're long overdue for a gift after putting up with all their crap all the time.

Cut the crap and give me suggestions. I'm not asking what kind of body style I should get, I'm asking what kind of SUV to get. So don't tell me what to do.

lol, learn to use the internet. it was a lighthearted joke. asking a smash community for suv recommendations is like asking a power tools forum how to weave an oriental carpet. why not just go to a god**** suv forum if you're all uptight and serious about this?? these took me all of two seconds to find: BINGO!@!@!!!!

the only reason i could see asking this community what kind of suv to buy would be if you were trying to make some kind of rolling smash brothers battle station, for tournaments on the go.

well, i suppose if i absolutely had to get an suv for some reason, i'd get a subaru wrx sti hatchback, since it's somewhat spacious and still a sports car. but then if i had a god**** choice in the matter, i'd just get an sti sedan instead.

It would appear I have been found out. :embarrass

And if this is going to turn into a flame-fest between you and I, let the Mods have no mercy in closing this thread.

LOL, you're seriously looking for an SUV to just go to tourneys with? Nothing else at all?

Gosh megavolt, you're not funny at all. I don't know why you keep making "jokes" and expecting us to laugh. And when we don't you get all indignant. I can't recall even one instance when you laughed at one of my jokes. I know we've had our differences over the years. Like that time I convinced your girlfriend you were a serial murderer as a joke and she actually broke up with you, or that time you burned my house down and we settled out of court because you couldn't afford the lawyers' fees. But this is the straw that breaks the camel's back. To a camel, a broken back is a death sentence. Have you seen a camel with a broken back? And I don't mean one of those ugly two-humped Bactrian camels. **** them. I'm talking about the dromedaries; the badasses of the camel world. That's a camel. Now imagine it with a damaged spinal vertebra structure. That is your doing. Look at what your hands have wrought. Look at the pain in its once proud eyes; the unbearable strain on its now half-paralyzed legs. Are you happy now? Are you? Consider this my final goodbye. I HATE YOU MEGA

no...NO!!!!

come back goldie!!! please!! things'll be different this time! i'll shower on a more regular basis, and i'll get my old job back, and maybe we can go to the park and fly kites together, just like the old days! see? come on, it'll be great!! i laugh at your jokes all the time! i just don't know how to show it without making it sound like some overt sexual come-on! and i'm always going on about what an expert you are on camels to all my friends, and i tell them how handsome and strong you are, too.

also, in all seriousness, yeah, i was kind of out of line last post. sorry, toonmarth. your response to my first post just kind of set me off.

Yeah, I apologize for that response. Was naively expect a more serious response, lol.

And @ UberMario, No, I need this SUV for packing down loads of stuff on long road trips, and for those mountain drives in Colorado, cause that's where I'm moving back to. Do you really expect me to go off road (possibly) in a sedan?

Hmmmm . . . . I've got some ideas, but what's your ideal price range?

I was thinking possibly a Ford Explorer.
