Apart from an occasional PC Drop Edge Hog, I have yet to incorporate Pivots into my game.
What are some common uses of Pivots? And how do you use them?
3x Pivot Ftilt is the last trial in the Sheik Trial video by Little England
I heard they should be good in certain Dthrow tech chase situations. But apart from that, what is possible?

I suspect Pivot Ftilt can be used as a tight punish option in the neutral game. Same goes for Pivot Standing Grab.

The only way I have found to get Empty Pivot out is to Dash in one direction and flick the stick in the opposit direction, as fast as possible and let go. Intuitively Pivot Grab seems to be the easiest of the two since Grab is a one button input, where Ftilt is combination of stick position and A.
In order to do Pivot Ftilts, near frame perfect, you'd need intense perfection and feel for the Empty Pivot and Ftilt.
I'll work on these and come back with my experience.

Today my spacing mostly consist of Fox Trotting, Walk + WD back.
I'd like to incorporate more DD in, since it allows for a faster punish game and so I think both Pivot Ftilt and Pivot Grab are necessary.

I wonder if stuff like Pivot Rising Nair has it's uses and what else is there.

If noone has input I'll do my own research and share it with you

Just wanted to chime in and say I am most interested to see what you find! I've found myself thinking about pivots and how they can be incorporated into Sheik's game.

I agree that Sheik's DD is usually dismissed as quite short and not of high utility (which isn't incorrect), however I share your thoughts about possibly finding a way to make more use out of it. Right now I only usually DD when I get a grab and d-throw (note: I am a PAL Sheik), as I'm finding it helps me cover the tech options a bit better than trying to follow the tech with a dash into boost grab. I only started playing this year so my understanding of all this is pretty elementary, so any criticism about what I have just said is most welcome!
