Alright, in the end, it turns out that the Ancient Minister stole the Halberd, and has been in it the entire time. You'll have the choice of playing as Mario, Sonic, Snake, Fox, Metaknight, Kirby, Wario, DK, or the princess you didn't save.
After an extremely difficult sidescrolling level, you will face off against the Ancient Minister, who has been in control of the Master and Crazy hand the entire series.
If playing as Sonic, Sonic will jump into the Minister's chamber and yell "Hey!" THen he'll start runnning at him.
If playing as Snake, he just sneaks in.
If playing as Zelda, you cast the explosive thingy.
Peach does turnip.
Mario simply jumps in.
DK comes in and starts hitting his chest.
Kirby shoots the Star Rod at him.
Metaknight simply appears, and points his sword at the AM.
Fox shoots at him.
Wario laughs and points at him.
After defeating the AM, you must escape the Halberd in under a minute. If you do, you unlock the secret ending, where it shows the Master Hand finally putting his toys away, then zooms out to a kid who walks out of a doorway.
