SDI/ASDI in PM

I didn't see anything about it in the FAQ soo...

Basically, does the SDI/ASDI rules from melee apply to PM or is PM's DI copied from brawl? (idk if ASDI is even a thing in brawl).

As I understand it in melee, control stick inputs can be used to move your character in hitstun (hopefully the right terminology) (SDI) then are used to determine your launch trajectory (DI). And ASDI is based off the input during the first frame of hitstun and cstick inputs take priority over control stick inputs. After that first frame, the cstick input doesn't matter. (this is based off the old doraki thread http://smashboards.com/threads/a-gu...-teching-and-crouch-cancelling-updated.60218/ )

If this is not the case and DI is like brawl, can someone link me to a DI tutorial thread/video? Thanks.

All forms of directional influence have been adjusted to match melee perfectly. Including the ability to ASDI moves that don't put you in tumble, something not possible in brawl.

Any Melee guides on DI should then, apply to PM as well.

Great, thanks. So Cstick does nothing except ASDI right?
