Hey smashboards, I recently purchased a Memory card reader that plugs into your USB port and lets your computers read your memory card.
The problem is, I have a MicroSD card and the USB reader is only compatible with normal SD cards, BUT I have an adapter for my MicroSD card which lets my micro in the adapter (which is the same size as a normal SD) then put it into the Reader, and plug it into my computer.
I think it should work but when I try to put files, pics, etc onto the card, and window pops that says "The disk is write protected, remove the write protection or get a new disk"
Does this mean my reader is only compatible with actuall memory cards without adapters or do I have to remove the write protection or can i only put certain files on my microSD or what?
Please help
Wooooowww, I realized how ******** I am.
All i had to do was turn the lock off on the card! Why do they put that there gahhh!!!! Sorry about this terrible post.
