Samus oddities

I was playing a few games today and something crazy happened, as usual. I've had a few similar cases before, but this is just crazy to me. What's wrong with samus' hitbox?

Samus vs Luigi, Sector Z

I was dashing from across the street towards luigi, who was waiting on the soft slope leading to the cockpit. He did down-b, and I kept dashing and clearly went right through him. No damage, knockback, nothing. For the records, I went through him toward the beginning of his down-b, as he started actually spinning, and he was slightly up in the air from mashing b.

Anyways, I felt like pointing that out here 'cause it was pretty surprising. Feel free to add your own samus invincibility/hitbox oddities.

Been playing other things, I was tired of smash. Also I wouldn't really say I'm "back", because I only play when I'm bored and I'm gonna be far less active in the community than I was before.

ps. ive seen this happen in melee. samus has sum weird **** goin on w/ her dash and walk.
