After seeing tons of threads on advanced/new discoveries of Samus, don't you think we should properly list them and cite their threads? It would definitely help me and many other Samus mains. So... discuss any new techniques and post them. Or bash me for being a Smash Child attempting to start a new topic. :O
So, let's continue on, shall we?

>Use of the "Zair", or Grapple Beam in midair - Quick, no-lag attack with long range. Very good approach. Great stun, good for combos.
--Hylian QFT:
>Homing Missile Edgeguarding Counter - Found from Hylian's vid. Use Homing Missiles to slow down fall and reach ledge, while throwing off opponent with barrage of missiles. Protects from edgeguarding attacks and edgehoggers. Can be followed by a Fair near ledge.

--Further Discussion: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=149399Zair is increadible for approaching. It is the longest move in the game, has the best priority, can be cancled at any point by hitting the ground, comes out insanly fast, has no lag, and has great stun time as well as the ability to combo into itself over and over.

>Some sort of "Ken Combo" Fair, Zair, Nair, and Fair again to repeat OR Dair to KO.She has like..no lag on anything. When I realized this...holy crap. Sure zair has no lag...BUT NEITHER DOES ANY OF HER OTHER MOVES!!!

>Dair Bair Combo
--Majoras QFT:
>Triple Tether Recovery - Samus can use Zair up to three times now.So I was playing brawl and noticed that to almost all characters i could do Down-Air while they are on the ground and then connect with a back-air which gave me a lot of fast kills,
>Single Bomb Jump - Bomb Jump with one Bomb instead of two.
--Boolossus QFT:
--Further Discussion: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=146985Even though you get an additional jump when dropping 2, you don't lose horizontal movement while dropping bombs like you did in melee, meaning you have to go backwards away from the stage to hit your second bomb. Plus, your jump isn't nearly as big as it was in melee. (...) dropping one bomb at a time does a better job than dropping two and jumping.

--HeavyArms QFT:
--Further Discussion: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=150007The basic concept is that by doing "dash dancing" in the air, you are quickly going back and forth canceling each other momentum and ultimately going to nowhere other than straight down. Like the first technique, once you're able to transfer all momentum downward, do a bomb jump normally, and repeat this technique after you have made the jump.
