Sup everyone,

I'm pretty new to this whole Smash community thing. I've been on Melee for about a year before brawl came out. Enough to get most of the tech stuff down at least. Anywho, I put together a preview this weekend of about 2 weeks of footage on my Samus so far. Check it out and please don't flame me for not meeting anyones expectations. I know there's a ton of good videos out there but with your help perhaps I can learn to get there someday.

Enjoy!

Fantastic editing.

I always know a good vid/preview when the only thing I want to post in response is a request for an online brawl.

Awesome.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the compliments. Since the Wii console shortage I haven't been able to play brawl as often as I wish. It's hard trying to get good footage because the only time I can play brawl is during work on my off-time. Hopefully I'll be able to get more throughout the weeks ahead for my complete project.

-Thanks again!

Man, that smash into the rocket that was already mid-air... I don't know what I like about it better; the editing or the clip itself.

Nice, but I wouldn't consider your Samus exceptional.
Yeah I totally agree. There are far more better Samus players out there that I'm trying to learn from. Take "Mau" for an example. He's really good.

Can you give me any advice on what I would need to improve on, in regards to my performance and tech abilities?

Thanks!

Your samus has an odd amount of agression, whether your good or not you made an entertaining video. Thanx
lol. I guess "odd" is a good way of putting it. I'm trying my best to get the whole feeling of Samus down. She's very slow and sluggish now so it's hard to time and piece combos together. I'm currently in the process of polishing up on platform missiles (if you noticed on my video). They work a little different then they did on melee so it's new technique that needs time and patience to get down.

I loved the video.

Its good to see an aggressive, melee intesive Samus... shes alot better up close then most give her credit for.

Could not have said it better myself. I definitely look forward to seeing the whole thing. Not exceptional samus play, but definitely fantastic editing.

Thanks for the feedback and constructive criticism guys. I really appreciate the concerns. I've noticed some of you mentioning about exceptional Samus play. I was wondering if you could elaborate on that a little, that way I know what and what not to put in my final product.

I'll also be coming out with a Snake preview soon. So stay tuned.
