Much like the special version, only this time with 405 Attack and 120 Base Power. Fire Blast beats steels and Aqua Tail are good against Gliscor and Hippowdon. Earthquake owns a lot of Pokés and Stone Edge can be used against Zapdos.

A bulkier set by Pink Reaper, this can outspeed Adamant Lucario, survive a +1 Ice Punch or take only about 50% from a +2 Close Combat. Fire/Dragon provides near perfect coverage which is only resisted by Heatran, but Empoleon can take this set on as well with resistance to Dragon and high Special Defense. To get rid of these you might replace Flamethrower with Earthquake, OHKOing Heatran and it can 2HKO Empoleon, but then Bronzong and Skarmory will wall you.


Other options:

All sets can have their +(sp.)atk natures traded in for +speed natures (Modest into Timid, Naughty into Naive) if you want more speed. Salamence can be used a bit defensively with not too bad defensive stats and Intimidate and with Roost you can heal, if using that. Yache Berry can be used as Salamence hates Ice a lot.

EVs:

Max speed and your offensive stat of choice. Unlike Smogon I'm not going to let you go out of your way to negate the 2% chance of not OHKOing with Fire Blast, but if you're really worried about that shift some EVs over. (24 SpA EVs guarantee a KO on Skarmory.)

Troublesome Pokés:

Mamoswine has big attack and Ice Shard. Weavile outspeeds and has Ice Punch or Ice Shard. Porygon2 can cripple physical versions by switching in. Salamence can be killed by getting it locked into Outrage while getting something Steel like Registeel or Skarmory. With Stealth Rock on, you can hurt it by pseudohazing it. As with everything Special, Blissey walls the Specs set. Empoleon resists Dragon and has high Special Defense and can take the Defensive set.

Add empoleon to the counters list when you mention this set. High SpDef, resists attacks and toxic, carries Ice Attacks, yadda yadda yadda. I wouldn't mention this but I've been seeing it sporadically recently figured it's wort adding.

Care to explain more about the moves/EVs/nature?

Speed EV's allow it to out run Adamant Lucario and the HP/Def EV's allow it to never be OHKO'd by a +1 Ice Punch as well as only taking around 50% from a +2 Close Combat. Dragon/Fire provides almost perfect coverage with only Heatran taking resisted damage from any of your attacks, however Empoleon also walls the set with it's high Special stat and resistance to dragon. Replacing Flamethrower with Earthquake allows you to beat these two as even with no EV's EQ has a chance to OHKO 4/0 Heatran and can 2HKO Empoleon, however this leaves you walled against Bronzong and Skarmory.

as a wall breaker. It has proven to be a very good set. Lately I've been using the same spread with flamethrower DM EQ and SE instead and it is proving to be equally valuable.
