People lie.

First of all I don't think it's illegal to give out someone's email, but he does not even speak English, and he is a busy man who would hardly take the time to get your email translated and then send you a translated reply. Especially when the question is more than likely something that will be on the Dojo later or be seen once the game is released.

Well, you were not specific about what you wanted to ask him, but people constantly talk about X character or Y change to the game.

Anyway, my point was, even if you did email him, the chances of getting a response are basically zero.

Well said. He could have a spam email address, or just fan mail. Even though I doubt he would read any of it. Most likely you'll just get an auto-reply.

If you aren't a professional in the gaming industry, over 21 years of age, and know him somewhat, chances are he would even read it.

Meh. I'm just wondering if it's psosible. A friend of mine was making a petition of sorts and I suggested that he would have to get Sakurai's e-mail before it gets really noticed.

And YES, I'm aware that Sakurai doesn't speak English, but if I were to email him, I know a bit of Japanese sources.

I doubt he would care about a peition for Geno, or whatever useless petition your friend has.

It would be to late to petition to get anything changed. The game has less than a month of real development left if I am correct, then it will go into "beta testing." By this point, it's too late to add any new features.

Unless your petition is to change something like Ike.

(If that is it, I am sure that Nintendo knows people are not happy with garbage-tier Ike as he is. If they want to fix him, they will, during the beta testing)

I'm sure he already gets enough of these. Yes, Let's make a petition claiming we want Barney in brawl, and since I got 1 million people to sign, he must be in brawl or I will not buy the game.

We need less influence of players and just let the man do his work. After all, it is his game, so he should be free it do what he likes.
