So, this company called "Saber Gaming" donated $6,000 to the pot at Genesis. IDK what their deal is, but one of the guys who apparently owns it said this in a post:

For 2012 we plan just to do melee/brawl/n64 since this is a business we also feel that the current fees and everything can be expanded. Since we wish to do this as a side job making money from out sponsoring might be a while but don't expect to see crazy fees. The idea is for $25-35 Singles fee $40-50 Doubles fee, Some might say thats little high but compared to evo and mlg thats little low. Everything is subject to change

Note the n64. If this goes through- big money 64 tourneys. Holy ****.

Reminds me more of KB for some reason. I'm (to my knowledge) the only person who's semi-fluent both on console and on KB. The hori lets you do diverse random KB'ish shenanigans.

nintendude is good on console and kb if thats wat u mean by fluent, but yea its about time that theres big money tournaments for 64.

Yeah, if I convert I'm definitely using a Hori. This might sound dumb, but I hate controllers where one hand is lower than the other.

IDK why but my whole game is off if I can't do 'em.

Also when I said "semi-fluent" I meant "I can beat absolute scrubs with both," not "I'm anywhere close to being semi-OK on console."
