I'm not too sure about anybody else... but seeing as they will only allow 2-3 3rd parties (including Snake) and Sonic most likely will have a slot, I say Ryu should get the 3rd slot.

Ryu would have an awesome moveset, and in my eyes, be a very formidable fighter.

If Capcom came to Sakurai offering one of their characters, it would be Megaman, not Ryu.

Ryu > Megaman. I only say that cause I love martial arts! (I take Shinto-Ryu karate)
